Becca McAmis is a wife and mother to two amazing children.  Becca was a teacher for 10 years before moving to Florida in 2022. Her son first took survival swim lessons when he was 13 months old. At the time, Becca and her family lived in Hawaii, and surrounded by water. One day, while swimming in the ocean, her son got knocked over by a wave. She found his face up and floating on his back. He waited until he could catch his balance and breathe again before heading to the shore. It was the most awe-inspiring thing she had ever seen. She knew then, watching her tiny son use his skills, that she wanted to make a difference and teach other children to have survival swimming skills in the water. After having her daughter and learning that she was moving to Florida, Becca knew the timing was right to finally put her dream into motion. This has been a long time coming, but Becca looks forward to making a difference in the community and helping to educate and prevent childhood drownings.
