Watch Me Swim, LLC has taken all the safety precautions necessary to minimize the risk of cross contamination from Covid-19. 

• Balanced Pool Chemicals 

Here’s the official statement from the CDC about swimming during the coronavirus outbreak:

“There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.”

• Do Not Arrive More Than 5 Minutes Before Your Child's Lesson

This will drastically avoid any chances of cross contamination between families and ensure everyone is complying with the social distancing recommendation by the CDC.

• Disinfectant Spray/Hand Sanitizer

We ask all parents who are seated and waiting for their child's turn to please use the disinfectant spray to spray the chair you or your child sat in so it is sanitary for the next family. Hand sanitizer is also available for your use.

• No Shared Books or Toys on Pool Deck

Because the virus can spread through other surfaces such as our books on the pool deck, we have decided to remove all books from the pool deck. Parents feel free to bring your own book to read to your child while waiting for lessons although with the new scheduling policies we don't anticipate much of a wait in between lessons.

• Instructor Face Shield

While we all know it would be impossible to adhere to the 6 feet social distancing between your child and their instructor, Ms. Jenn and I will be wearing a plastic shield attached to our hats to avoid exchange of droplets and direct breathing between instructor and student.

• Illness

If your child has experienced any upper respiratory symptoms or a fever of higher than 100 degrees, please do not attend lessons until the symptoms have been clear for at least 3 days. Please contact your instructor to determine a precise return date. If your child is in household with anyone who has those symptoms, we ask that your child also be absent from lessons as well. In the event that Ms. Jenn or I develop any of those symptoms or become in contact with anyone who has those symptoms, I will immediately notify you and cancel lessons for the recommended time. All ill-related lesson cancellations will be credited.
