Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Diana Daoud has been around the water her entire life. She received her first self-rescue swim lessons through Infant Swimming Resource at just six months old, which sparked a lifelong confidence and love for swimming.

Diana swam competitively throughout her adolescent years and through high school. During high school and college, she also worked as a lifeguard, spending countless hours in and around the water and continuing to strengthen her swimming and water safety skills.

She first trained as an instructor with Watch Me Swim in 2022 and began teaching lessons in Tampa, Florida. Watch Me Swim is also a family effort. Diana’s mother is the founder of the program, and her sister is also an instructor, making water safety something their family is deeply passionate about.

After spending several years living in New York City, where she attended St. John’s University and worked in corporate America, Diana decided to return to work that felt more meaningful. She is excited to bring Watch Me Swim lessons to Dallas, Texas and help children develop the life-saving skills and confidence they need to be safe in the water.
