Instructor
Dina Daoud
Hello! Welcome to Watch Me Swim – Charlotte! My name is Dina Daoud, and I’m a proud wife and mother of three little ones. Born and raised in Tampa, FL, water and children have always been central to my life. Growing up, I was an active member of my school’s swim team and spent countless hours babysitting and working as a nanny for families in Florida and Charlotte. After my younger brother experienced a nonfatal drowning, my mother researched various swim programs and enrolled my younger siblings in the ISR self-rescue swim program. This experience deepened my commitment to ensuring that my own children had strong survival swimming skills.
Recognizing a shortage of high-quality self-rescue swim programs, I decided to become an instructor myself. In 2019, I completed a comprehensive infant self-rescue swim training, which included over 60 hours of hands-on experience with children in the water under the guidance of a Master Instructor. I also devoted extensive time to studying survival swimming techniques, child psychology, physiology, anatomy, and behavior modification. Since then, I’ve provided hundreds of safe and effective lessons to children in the Charlotte community, and I’m passionate about continuing to teach these life-saving skills. In my free time, I love traveling with my family and cheering on the Panthers at sporting events. Go Panthers!
