Why Does My Child Need Refresher Lessons?

I cannot stress the importance of refresher lessons for your child. Refresher lessons are extremely important in continuing and maintaining your child’s swimming skill development. Children grow and develop rapidly from infants to young children. This development process represents improved strength, coordination, and a more finely tuned cognitive ability. In accordance with this growth, children enrolled in survival swimming lessons should return periodically to participate in Refresher Lessons. These lessons are designed to fine tune your child’s existing skills to meet the demands of their growing bodies. It will allow them to make adjustments in their rollback to float and strengthen their swim ability. It is recommended that students under age 5 return periodically for short refresher lessons. As a good rule of thumb, if your child has outgrown their clothes or shoes since their last survival swim lesson, it is very likely they have outgrown the body they learned the skill in.
