Hello, I’m Becca, a wife, and momma to three amazing kiddos. I was a teacher for 10 years before moving to Florida. My son first took lessons when he was 13 months old. At the time, we lived in Hawaii, and we were surrounded by water. One day, while swimming in the ocean, my son got knocked over by a wave. He was able to use his skilled he had learned through survial swim lessons and floated on his back he waited until he could catch his balance again. It was the most awe-inspiring thing I had ever seen. I knew then, watching my tiny son use his skills, that I wanted to make a difference and teach other children to swim and have survival skills in the water.

After having my daughter and learning that we were moving to Florida, I knew the timing was right to finally put my dream into motion. I completed my training and joined the Watch Me Swim team in the summer of 2022. I look forward to making a difference in our community and helping to educate and prevent childhood drownings.
