Jaime Brownlee

I began my work with children, 16 years ago after my first son, Oliver was born. I opened a licensed family childcare home in Wilmington NC caring for five children ages 0-6 years. During my tenure as a childcare provider, I volunteered as a La Leche League Leader, helping to support breastfeeding mothers and their children. This inspired me to pursue additional training and in 2010 I became an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) working in private practice during several moves through 2015. I continued my passion for working with children by expanding my training by learning the psychology of survival swimming. In 2020 I became an Aquatic Behavioral & Drowning Prevention specialist. I am also currently attending DeSales University in the Masters of Business Administration program.
